Yes! We welcome your pets with open arms. We are one of only a handful of pet friendly motels in the Seacoast NH area. And we are more accommodating than most!

We will greet your pet, offer a cookie, and give advice on the best places to bring your pet for fun and exercise. (Fields and woods are in our back yard.)

We also offer pet sitting on a limited basis, with advanced notice!

However, for the safety and comfort level of all guests, we must enforce a pet policy. Please review it before leaving home.

Rosewood Inn Pet Policy

1. Specific rooms are set aside for pets and their owners. You must mention your pet(a) when calling for a reservation or, if you do not have a reservation, you must mention them at check-in.
2. Pet charge: $10 for 1st pet, $5 for add'l pets per night. $50 per week.
3. From March - November, must show proof of flea treatment. For example, receipt for purchase, or actual product. (spot treatment, collar, pills, etc).
4. A copy of the pets' up-to-date vaccination papers must be presented to the office before check in. If you do not have them with you, and you are staying for longer than 3 nights, we will attempt to call your vet and have them faxed over. Required vaccinations include:

-- Dogs: DHLPPC / Rabies / Kennel Cough
-- Cats: FVRCP / Rabies / Leukemia
5. Please use the grassy area near the tall trees/front dumpster for your dog's "bathroom facility." Do not allow dogs to urinate on shrubbery in front of rooms.
6. All dog poop must be scooped immediately, tightly sealed in a plastic bag and put into dumpster. If not done we have the right to charge $5.00 per incident.
7. Plastic bags are available at the front desk at the cost of 10 for $2.00
8. All dogs must be leashed and under your control at all times.
9. Sick animals, vicious dogs, or dogs prone to excessive barking should not visit the Rosewood Inn.
10. Please do not allow animals on our beds.
11. Please do not use our towels on animals or animal waste.
12. Dogs left alone in the room must be crated. If this is impossible, you may alternatively hire the on-premises pet-sitter to supervise the dog(s).
13. Pet-sitter is available for all canine (and feline) guests, whether they are crated or not. Services include:
-- "Pop-ins" - this includes feeding, watering, and a walk / play session for 15 minutes. Cost is $7.00. Extended visits - same as pop-in, but will stay for as long as needed. Minimum is 2 hours, at the rate of $10 per hour.
-- Reservations for pet sitter are recommended.
14. Please use "odor control" cat litter. Do not flush cat droppings! They must be sealed in plastic bags and thrown in trash.
